LOCATION🌍
This role is based in Portugal. We have a shared office space in Porto city centre for those who prefer a hybrid model where you can spend time with colleagues in-person. If necessary, the role can be remote within Portugal, coming together for team meetings as needed.
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH 👨🏽🤝👨🏼
Join Hostelworld's dynamic Affiliate team and play a key role in driving innovation and efficiency. You'll collaborate with a passionate group dedicated to propelling our affiliate channel forward. You'll report directly to the Affiliate Manager, and you’ll play a pivotal role in driving growth and optimizing our affiliate program.
WHAT YOU'LL DO 👩💻
- Build and manage complex partnerships requiring in-depth analysis and ongoing optimization.
- Leverage your analytical expertise to identify opportunities for performance improvements.
- Analyze affiliate performance data, identify trends, and generate insightful reports to track campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Support partners with the API integration process, ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding experience.
- Provide high-quality technical support on issues related to API integrations, feeds, tracking, and reporting platforms.
- Develop and maintain clear and concise technical documentation for internal and partner use.
- Analyze current workflows and identify opportunities for automation to enhance channel efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Lead the adoption and implementation of new technologies and tools to modernize the affiliate program.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to the affiliate program infrastructure.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 👀
We at Hostelworld are seeking a highly motivated and tech-savvy Senior Affiliate Executive to join our growing team. In this exciting role, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth, channel efficiency and modernisation through technological advancements and automation strategies.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in affiliate marketing.
- Proven track record of establishing relationships and effectively communicating to stakeholders and partners.
- Deep understanding of API functionality, including experience with API integrations, data formats, and authentication methods.
- Experience with metasearch partners, affiliate management platforms, and large cross-functional teams working remotely.
- Experience with performance monitoring tools, error tracking, and data analytics collection
- Proven ability to identify and implement automation solutions for improved efficiency.
- Confident working with budgets, targets, and data.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Knowledge of technical implementations and troubleshooting challenges related to API integrations, feed management, tracking and reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of affiliate marketing technologies (e.g., tracking platforms, CRMs, affiliate networks)
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, data reporting platforms).
Bonus Points:
- Experience with affiliate marketing in the travel industry.
- Experience with API integrations and data feeds.
- Experience with building and maintaining affiliate dashboards.
- Preferably, experience using SQL in your work
